Quiet matters as much as sound in a lot of settings. A treatment that calls for stillness, nap times, prayer times, or simply the last half hour before you close. A silence block reserves that window on the calendar so the music stops when it should and starts again without anyone needing to remember.
A Silence block is different to simply not scheduling something in your calendar. It acts as an override to enforce a period Silence in a zone when you need it.
How to add a soundscape to your schedule
Open the Schedule tab and select your zone.
Select the time slot where you want the quiet period to begin.
Choose Silence instead of music.
Set the start and end time.
Save. The block appears on the calendar as a distinct silent period.
Good to know
You can place a Silence block directly over the top of another scheduled block so that you can keep your scheduled music in your schedule and still be able to create intentional moments of silence.
Playback resumes automatically at the end of the Silence block.
Silence blocks behave like any other scheduled item, so you can set them to repeat in a recurring series.
Silence blocks are set per zone. A quiet hour in one room does not affect the rest of the venue.
