How do I repeat my schedule?

Repetition lets you build that pattern once and have it run for as long as you need.

Repeating blocks turn a one-off schedule into a weekly pattern. Set any block to repeat, whether that is a morning soundscape or a Friday quiet hour, and it returns at the same time every week for as long as you want it to. You build the pattern once, and Myndstream keeps it running from there.

How to make a scheduled item repeat

  1. When adding a scheduled block to your calendar, select the Repeat drop down, to choose if you’d like to repeat this block on a weekly basis.

  2. Alternatively, you can select a previously created block that you want to have repeat.

  3. Save. The block will now repeat at the same time and day each week in your calendar.

How to edit a single session in a repeating schedule?

Adjust a single day of a repeating schedule and leave the rest of the pattern untouched.

Need to change one day only, such as a bank holiday or a private event?

  1. To editing a recurring scheduling, click the scheduled block you’d like to adjust.

  2. Select Edit to make your changes, such as:

    • Swap in a different soundscape

    • Replace with silence

    • Change the start time or duration

    • Remove this block from the series

  3. When you click Save you will be presented the following prompt screen asking you if you would like to apply the changes to this one session or all recurring sessions:

Good to Know

  • Editing the whole series updates every future occurrence. Occurrences already in the past are left as they were.

  • Removing a scheduled block will leave that time as a gap in the schedule, so your fallback playback setting will take over during this time unless a new scheduled block is added. However, you can choose silence explicitly if you want the room to stay quiet regardless of the fallback.

  • If you’d like to make sure you repeating schedule matches your external calendars events, you can also integrate your external Google or Microsoft Calendar so that you can view these events directly inside your Myndstream schedule, here’s how:
