How do I keep my schedule playing when the internet drops?

Scheduled soundscapes are downloaded in advance, so playback carries on through a connectivity drop.

An unstable connection should not be something that affects your listening experience. When you build a schedule, Myndstream downloads the soundscapes it needs onto your device 24 hours ahead of time. If the internet drops mid-session, playback keeps running from what is already stored, and the schedule continues as planned. This happens automatically. There is nothing to switch on and no files to manage.

How it works

  1. You build or edit a schedule.

  2. Myndstream downloads the soundscapes for the coming days ahead onto the device controlling that zone.

  3. If the connection drops, scheduled playback continues.

  4. When the connection returns, streaming resumes and the download refreshes in the background.

Good to know

  • Keep the device connected to power and to your network where possible so downloads stay current.

  • Downloads do take up space on the device but we have optimised this to ensure you only store whats essential for your schedule to maintain seamless playback.
