Playing music in your business isn't the same as listening at home.
When you stream music for commercial purposes, standard personal accounts, like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, Tidal, and Deezer aren't legally compliant and are at risk of huge fines. Playing music for an audience requires specific commercial licensing to keep your business fully compliant.
Protect your business and stay legal with a dedicated provider like Myndstream. All of our music is commercially cleared for global business use and includes public performance rights for the USA.
Locations situated in the United States of America
Once you sign up for a free trial or purchase a subscription, you have instant access and are fully covered for your use.
In the US you do not need a separate public performance license to play music from The Stream in your business which could save you thousands in annual licensing fees. Provided all use, Authorised Users and Locations are located within the United States.
Locations situated outside of the United States of America
Customers based outside the US will be responsible for maintaining their own territory-specific public performance license with their local Performance Rights Organization (PRO).
While our music is fully cleared for worldwide streaming, performance rights are only bundled for US-based businesses. If you are located outside the US, please ensure you hold a valid public performance license from your local PRO.
With a territory-specific PRO license in place, your Myndstream subscription continues to cover your platform access and app usage.
If you have any questions regarding these changes or how they affect your account, please email [email protected]
Please note: these licences do not cover you performing any of the music, content or related content outside of the The Stream service. Full T&Cs are here.
