The Stream is fully licensed for business use but due to international copyright laws, there are some differences within and outside the United States of America to ensure no risk of fines and artists are fully compensated for their work.
Locations situated in the United States of America
The Stream has been designed for use in spas and wellness settings, so once you sign up for a free trial or purchase a subscription, you have instant access and are fully covered for your use.
In the US you do not need a separate public performance license to play music from The Stream in your business which could save you thousands in annual licensing fees. Provided all use, Authorised Users and Locations are located within the United State.

Locations situated outside of the United States of America
The Stream is fully licensed to make its content available internationally. This does not, however, grant the same public performance or premises licence that applies in the United States. Outside the United States, obtaining that licence is the responsibility of the venue owner.
It is the business's responsibility to obtain and maintain, throughout the Subscription Term, all public performance, premises and other licences required by any collecting society, performing rights organisation or other competent body in the relevant territory for the playing or performance of the Content at that Location.
Myndstream cannot be held accountable for any and all claims, actions, proceedings, losses, damages, expenses and costs arising out of or in connection with the Customer's failure to obtain or maintain any such licence.
